Personality development is the need of the hour and literary events contribute to it appreciably. Logotechnia provides a perfect platform o exploit our hidden skills and develop our personality. Many interesting and important events will be organized under this head. Some of them include:

Debate:Topics/Schedule

DEBATE TOPICS

1. Is there a need to ban on advertisements targeting children?

2. Should genetically modified foods (GM foods) be allowed in the market?

DEBATE

1. The team will be judged as a group of 2, one speaking ‘FOR’ and the other ‘AGAINST’ the topic.
2. The team can speak either in English or Hindi.
3. The maximum allotted time period for each speaker is 180 seconds, after which the candidate may be considered for disqualification. The candidate will be alerted after 150 seconds.
4. The team has to face 60 seconds of open cross questioning.

 

EXTEMPORE

1. The speaker will be given 60 seconds to think on the topic.
2. Maximum Time limit- 120 seconds.
3. Alert will be given after 90 seconds.

 

  BUILD A CASTLE

1. An analytical/general on the spot topic will be given.
2. The participant is expected to bring pen. Only sheets will be provided.
3. The participant has 30 minutes to analyze and write his views and suggestions on the sheets provided.

 

LAT-I

1. On the spot topic to be provided.
2. Maximum Time limit- 60 seconds.
3. Speaker to switch side after the buzzer which will be given at 30 seconds.

 

GD

1. On the spot topic to be provided.
2. A single Group will consist of 10 members.
3. Time allotted – 15 minutes.
4. The group will be asked to conclude after the buzzer. A maximum of 2 minutes for the conclusion before the maximum allotted period.

 

JAM (just a minute)

It isto be done on the spot. It is an informal event.

ENGRAM

It is an informal and a memory based event. Some slides will be displayed in 30 seconds; each slide will be displayed for a maximum of 2 seconds. Rest remains a mystery. Come and solve the mystery!
